Sometimes I need to SLOW down ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sometimes my body asks me to SLOW down. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sometimes I need to SLEEP 😴 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m sure your body has similar needs! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A big part of #cancerrehab is recovery or rest 🌟 which is in contrast to another key aspect of rehab - movement and exercise 👍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My role as a #cancerphysio is to support my client to recognise their own body’s needs including: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - Do you need to move or rest right now? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ - What is the short term aim and the long term aim?
